Cara is a learning, leadership & talent development consultant who collaborates to address the needs of people & organizations so they can become their best selves & achieve desired results for those whom they serve. Cara is passionate about helping people discover their core motivations & strengths to joyfully live out who God created them to be.
Cara provides strategy, design, development & implementation support on a variety of learning & formation initiatives in corporations, ministries, parishes & dioceses. She develops & facilitates Children’s Eucharistic Adoration sessions for CCD students at her parish and is a Daily Gospel Reflections blog contributor at CatholicMom.com.
Previously, Cara was a Manager in Merck’s Enterprise Learning group developing top talent Executives & held a variety of Learning & Talent Development roles in Merck’s Global Human Health Division. She was an Instructional Designer in the Performance Improvement function at First USA Bank, (now JP Morgan Chase & Co.), in Wilmington, DE. Cara served as a Senior Marketing Research Assistant in National Analysts’ Research & Consulting Healthcare Practice, (now NAXION), and was a Consultant in Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Practice, both in Philadelphia, PA.
Cara has her B.S. in Food Marketing from St. Joseph’s University and her M.Ed. in Instructional Systems, Training Design & Development from Pennsylvania State University. She holds her Catechetical Institute Certification from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary Graduate School of Theology and her Certificate in Pastoral Technology from the University of Dayton & Interactive Connections. She is a certified MCORE coach.
Cara & her husband Ted live in the Philadelphia suburbs with their daughter Theresa – their most treasured gift from God.
